How scoring works!
Combined scoring per prize
Combined sum of all player's pot scores for each prize set by organisers.
The leaderboard for most birdies will be separate view to overall leaderboard.
These engagement prizes help to keep all players engaged in the event.
Tiebreaker Rules:
In event of a tie, the entry with the best performing individual pot score wins tiebreaker.
If top individual score is tied we continue to next highest until a winner can be settled.
Example: Player A (-20,-18,-8...) wins over Player B (-20,-18,-7...)
If still tied and all pot scores identical, the winning player will be randomly selected.
Cut/(max) score (Golf):
Players who miss the cut will score the cut mark +10 strokes.
Any player who makes the cut will also be capped at this score to ensure fairness.
Large events can request their own manual cut score and rules if desired.
How player draw works!
Suitability:
Small events with <30 entries.
Each selection can only be drawn to one player.
No skill required.
Entry - Drawn selections at random.
Players are automatically entered upon joining event.
The number of pots depends on how many players and selections are in the event.
Example 8 players, 80 selections would draw 8 pots.
Each pot contains ordered seeded selections using latest odds.
If a selection doesn't start, the next highest seeded unassigned selection will take their place.
No multiple entries.
Each selection will only be drawn once so no 2 players can have the same selection.
Scoring is combined total of all pots for each event's prize
